本州から記載された種で、日本固有種。ススキなどイネ科植物に生息する。小顎刺針は複眼後方刺毛に届かず、触角第3節の感覚錘は2本のみ。食菌性。

This species was described from Honshu and is endemic to Japan. It lives on Poaceae such as Miscanthus sinicus. The maxillary stylets are not reaching postocular setae, and the antennal segment III has only two sense cones. Fungus-feeder.
